Mixed Media Painting With Pastel
In this class you will be starting all of your paintings with washes of watercolor or acrylic paint, then finishing the painting with soft pastel leaving, if you wish, some of the under-painting showing in the work. This method of mixing the mediums works for any subject matter and has the great advantage of unifying your paintings. Working on a variety of white and colored papers and boards, we will also be focusing on using harmonious color relationships in these sessions.
