Parking permits are required, 7:00 am - 10:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday, Summer Quarter and academic breaks. All other parking restrictions (red zone, yellow zone, disabled, etc.) apply 24 hours, 7 days a week. Parking permits are not valid in metered parking spaces. One-day General Parking Permits can be purchased from permit dispensers located at Highland Drive entrance to campus, in the Performing Arts Center driveway and each level of the Grand Avenue Parking Structure. Permits can also be purchased at the Visitor information Center on Grand Avenue, the University Cashier’s office located in the Administration Building, room 133E and at the University Police Department located on Safety Way East and North Perimeter Road. Consult the University Police website for hours of operation or call 805-756-6654 for further information.

Building Locations and Directions
Please allow extra time for navigating and finding parking when attending Continuing Education and University Outreach classes. A campus map is enclosed with your registration confirmation. Maps and directions to buildings will be posted at the Continuing Education and University Outreach office (Jespersen Hall, Bldg. 116). You may find it helpful to locate your classroom and parking on a weekend while it is daylight.
Business Building (03)
Enter campus on Highland Drive. At the intersection of Highland Drive and California Boulevard (the second stop sign on Highland Drive), turn right. The Business Building (03) is the third building on your left, just north of Mustang Stadium. Parking is available in lot C-7 after 5:00 pm with a General permit. General Parking Permits are valid in Sponsored Guest and Staff parking spaces after 5:00 pm, excluding spaces designated as Staff from 7:00 am - 10:00 pm.
Erhart Agriculture Building (10)
From Highway 1 (Santa Rosa Street):
Enter campus on Highland Drive. Remain on Highland Drive until you reach the intersection of Highland Drive and Via Carta Road (the fourth stop sign on Highland Drive). Before 5:00 pm, turn left onto Via Carta Road. Parking is available in lots H-12, H-14 and H-16 with a General Parking Permit. General Parking Permits are valid in Sponsored Guest and Staff parking spaces after 5:00 pm, excluding spaces designated as Staff. Erhart Agriculture is located on the corner of North Perimeter Road and Via Carta.
From Highway 101:
Enter campus on Grand Avenue. Remain on Grand Avenue until you reach the intersection Grand Avenue and North Perimeter Road. Turn right onto North Perimeter Road. Before 5:00pm, continue on North Perimeter Road until you reach University Drive. Turn right onto University Drive. Take your next right onto Highland Drive. Turn Left onto Via Carta Road and parking is available in lots H-12, H-14 and H-16 with a General Parking Permit. After 5:00 pm, parking is available in lots H-4 and H-11 (adjacent to North Perimeter Road) with a General Parking Permit. General Parking Permits are valid in Sponsored Guest and Staff parking spaces after 5:00 pm, excluding spaces designated as Staff from 7:00 am - 10:00 pm. Erhart Agriculture is located on the corner of North Perimeter Road and Via Carta.
Education Building (02)
Enter campus on Highland Drive. At the intersection of Highland Drive and California Boulevard (the second stop sign on Highland Drive), turn right. The Education Building (02) is located behind the Business Building (03). Parking is available in lot C-7 after 5:00 pm with a General permit. General Parking Permits are valid in Sponsored Guest and Staff parking spaces after 5:00 pm, excluding spaces designated as Staff 7 am-10 pm.
English Building (22)
From Highway 1 (Santa Rosa Street):
Follow directions for Erhart Agriculture Building (10). The English Building (22) is connected to the Erhart Agriculture Building (10) by a common corridor forming a U-shaped building. The English Building (22) is the shorter building.
