HD Flexo Bootcamp
Today’s flexographic markets require the highest quality printing, rivaling offset and gravure. HD Flexo is EskoArtwork’s new high-resolution screening and digital platemaking solution that helps make it possible for you to achieve that level of quality. This workshop will provide you with the knowledge needed to evaluate HD and how to best optimize HD screening for your environment.
Over a three-day period, participants will learn how to implement HD Flexo from the best in the industry by walking the process from start to finish. A simulated job — design, proofing, workflow, digital platemaking, anilox and tape selection, flexographic printing, and process control - will draw on Cal Poly's “learn by doing” philosophy. HD Flexo's excellent quality is made possible with 4000+ DPI imaging, highlight screening, and innovative full-tone screening algorithms, smooth vignettes, drop shadows, and high-key images that surpass the best flexo quality to date. Further, fine image for security features or other
function are now practicable with HD Flexo. Join Malcolm Keif (Cal Poly), Larry Moore (Esko), and users of HD Flexo in this informative workshop. You will walk away with a full understanding of the process, how to optimize the system, proofing methods, and best practices for process control.
