Costa Rica Spring Break Trip

Learn by Doing in Costa Rica!

  • Meet multiple tour operators as we travel to four different regions of the country and sample the best of Costa Rica.
  • Experience the Pacific Coast, the mountainous Arenal Region and the jungles of the Caribbean.
  • See sloths, monkeys, iguanas and birds on guided nature tours.

    • Two units of Cal Poly Credit (REC 412 — Adventure Travel & Tourism)
    • All Lodging and 16 Meals
    • Travel Insurance
    • Experienced Local Adventure Guides
    • Tours and Adventures, including: EARTH University's Organic Farm, Banana Plantation and Natural Fiber Processing Plant
    • Transportation within Costa Rica
    • ParkEntrance Fees

Program Cost Estimate: $1,525 — Does not include airfare

Earning 2 Units: Students will be responsible for planning an optional excursion, interviewing the local tour operators, maintaining a journal during the trip, with assigned topics, and writing a reflection paper following the trip.
